Walk in Her Shoes 2016 Launch

Yesterday afternoon Rape Crisis Midwest staff, volunteers and supporters gathered at the Parkway Shopping Centre for the launch of Walk in Her Shoes 2016, our annual fundraising event which, this year, will take place on May 21st. The launch was an enjoyble afternoon with special guests including Diarmuid Crowley from Wild Orchard, who are kindly sponsoring drinks on the day, and members of the Corbett Suicide Prevention Patrol who are bravely taking the challenege and doing the walk. Our bake sale in UL on Monday was a huge success with three stands located across the campus - one outside the library, one in the main building and one in the GEMS building. Thanks to all our wonderful volunteers and bakers we managed to raise €858.61 for Rape Crisis Midwest. Read More

Charity Paddle 2016

A great day was had at the Charity 10k Paddle in Limerick last Saturday. The kayakers paddled from UL Boathouse down to Limerick City Centre to raise much-needed funds for the centre.
